Ekbert II. von Braunschweig, Margrave of Meißen, Count of Frisia, was born circa 1060 to Ekbert I. von Meißen (c1025-1068) and Immula di Torino and died 3 July 1090 of battle wounds. He married Oda von Meissen-Orlamünde .
Ekbert picked the wrong side in the civil wars, and was dispossed. Ekbert, bishop of Munster, may have been his son.
