Eleanor Emery Bayley was born 7 November 1624 in Romsey, Hampshire, England to John Emery (1599-1683) and Alice Grantham (1591-) and died 23 December 1700 Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. She married John Bayley (1613-1691) 22 May 1640 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, United States.

Eleanor was a practicing mid-wife in 1669 and 1670.

Her husband died in 1690 leaving her a widow. She died in 1700, after ten years a widow. Her estate was administered in December 1700. Her son Joshua was the administrator. Her estate of 15 pounds, 8 shillings and 8 pence was to be divided between her seven children.
