Eleazer Bigelow was born 14 March 1704 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to Joshua Bigelow (1655-1745) and Elizabeth Flagg (1655-1729) and died 24 February 1762 Westminster, Worcester County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. He married Mary Fiske (1702-1777) 24 November 1724 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

Eliezer Bigelow, son of Joshua Bigelow and Elizabeth Flagg, was born March 14, 1704-5 in Watertown, Massachusetts, the youngest of twelve children. On November 24, 1724, he wed Mary, the daughter of William Fiske and Hannah Smith. This marriage is recorded in Weston with this exception, the bride is recorded as "Mary Smith". Perhaps she resided with, or was adopted by some of her mother's relatives in Weston, and was there known as a Smith. She was admitted from the Watertown to the Weston church in 1723-4 as Mary Fiske, alias Smith. Eliezer and Mary had seven children, six born in Watertown, the last, Esther, born in Westminster.

They settled first in Watertown and came to Westminster, Massachusetts in early 1742. They settled on land that was given to his father for being a soldier who was wounded in King Phillip's War. The bounty land upon which Eliezer built his home was lot number 12, at the intersection of Main Street and Hubbardston Road. Shortly after they settled there, his aged father came to live with them. Eliezer died in Westminster on February 24, 1762. He is buried in the Woodside Cemetery in Westminster. His will was dated April 30, 1758.
