He married Lucretia Leffingwell (1782-1816) 25 December 1803 in Bozrah, New London County, Connecticut, United States. He married Olive Stark (1797-1862) 13 June 1821 in Bozrah, New London County, Connecticut, United States.

- Elijah Huntington, born December 10, 1777, in Norwich, Conn. He married, in 1803, Lucretia, daughter of Elisha and Alice (Tracy) Leffingwell, of Norwich. She was born in Norwich, November 14, 1782, and died in Bozrah, in 1816. He married, for his second wife, June 13, 1821, Olive, daughter of Joshua Stark, of Bozrah. He was always esteemed and respected in his native town ; where he proved himself equally useful in promoting its secular and religious prosperity. His second wife, a most excellent woman, died in Bozrah, September 26, 1862.
