Eliza Ann Putnam was born 1 September 1809 in Ellery, Chautauqua County, New York, United States to Ephron Putnam (1789-1839) and Phoebe Wilmarth (1791-1880) and died 20 October 1883 Ellery, Chautauqua County, New York, United States of unspecified causes. She married Edward Waite (c1802-1887) 1823 .
Eliza Putnam was born on September 1, 1809 in Ellery, Chautauqua County, New York to Ephron Putnam and Phoebe Wilmarth. In 1823, she married Edward Waite. They lived in Ellery at the tiem of the 1825 census. Afterward, they went to live in Gerry, New York until 1856, then went to town of Carroll. They owned 111 acres on Lot 6 near the county line. Of their 14 children, 8 lived to adulthood. Eliza appears on the 1870 and 1880 census with her son, William. Edward appears in the 1880 census in Ellery, with their daughter Sarah Pickard and her family. It is unknown why this is. Eliza died on October 20, 1883 in Ellery, Chautauqua County, New York. She is buried with her husband in Ivory Cemetery in Carroll, Chautauqua County, New York.
