She married Edward Clifford Perkins (1858-1902) 2 August 1882 in Windsor, Windsor County, Vermont, United States.
Mrs. Perkins was the daughter of the late United States Senator William M. Evarts and Helen Minerva Wardner Evarts, and the wife of Edward Clifford Perkins. Their four sons, Edward N., Maxwell E., Charles C., Louis A. and two daughters, Mrs. T. H. Thomas and Mrs. Archibald Cox were in Windsor for the funeral at St. Paul's Church.
