Elizabeth Kilpack was born 16 June 1793 in Field of Mars, New South Wales, Australia to David Kilpack (c1757-1797) and Eleanor McDonald (c1754-1835) and died 17 October 1850 Milsons Point, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes.
Elizabeth, as the eldest daughter of a farmer, had a sound knowledge of farm managment. It is said that she was an excellent horsewoman and was experienced in herding sheep and droving cattle.
At times she was left in charge of the dairy and fruit and vegetable farm run by her husband and herself on leased land on the fore-shore of Sydney Harbour near today's Milsons Point. They also owned other farms on other acreage on which they ran cattle.
