Lady Elizabeth Maitland Campbell was born on 25 July 1794.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. John Campbell, 1st Marquess of Breadalbane and Mary Turner Gavin.1 She married Sir John Pringle of Stichill, 5th Bt., son of Sir James Pringle of Stichill, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Macleod, on 19 October 1831.1 She died on 17 February 1878 at age 83 at Stichell, Berwickshire, ScotlandG.1,2 From 19 October 1831, her married name became Pringle.1
