- Emily A. Harris, 66, of 311 5th Ave., died Feb. 5, 1983, in Altoona Hospital. She was born Sept. 30, 1916, in Glenwillard, the daughter of William and Bertha (Lodwick) Shade, and Dec. 16, 1940, in Winchester, Va., married Robert Harris, who was killed in action Oct. 3, 1944, in Italy, during World War II. Surviving are two children: Mrs. Mary E. McCloskey, with whom she had resided, and Ronald L. of Virginia Beach, Va., and four grandchildren. Also surviving are six brothers and sisters: Mrs. Florence Kreuz of Altoona, Mrs. Eleanor Snowberger of Monroe Falls, Ohio, Mrs. Dorothea Geist of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Leona Parks of Williamsburg, William of Erie and Budd of Los Angeles, Calif. Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home.
