At Ulmarra Mrs. Charles Davis, the mother of 11 children, died on Saturday through a premature confinement, super vening on influenza and bronchitis.

DAVIS.—At her sister's (Mrs. J. J. Lee) residence, Rose cottage, Ulmarra, on 28th July, after a short and painful illness, EMILY BLANCHFORD, dearly beloved wife of Charles Davis, of Palmer's Channel, and second daughter of the late F. P. Gale, Franklands, South Arm, leaving a large family and a loving mother and sisters to mourn their irreparable loss.
