Emily Ida Gill was born 8 April 1880 in Blackmans Point, New South Wales, Australia to James Albert Gill (1844-1924) and Sarah Jane Eggins (1841-1928) and died 15 June 1950 Taree, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. She married Thomas Henry Tisdell (1870-1952) 6 January 1897 in Lorne, New South Wales, Australia.

Obituary
After being a patient in the M.R.D. Hospital for three months, Mrs Emily Ina Tisdell, wife of Mr. Thomas Tisdell, of Wingham Road, Taree, passed away at 5.30 a.m. on Thursday. She was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. James Gill, of Lorne, and was born at Blackman's Point 70 years ago. Following her marriage at Lorne, she and her husband resided in turn at Lorne, Taree, Tinonee, and finally made their home in Wingham Road, Taree. The late Mrs Tisdell reared a family of eleven children, all of whom survive her, together with her husband. She was very fond of flowers, and always had a nice garden at her home, to which, she devoted all her energies. The children are: Messrs Percy Tisdell (Lansdowne), Alfred (Sydney), Andrew (Taree), Thomas (Marrickville), James (Taree), Kenneth (Hannam Vale), Mesdames Allan Tisdell (Kendall), Allan Masters (Glenthorne), James Hardy (Taree), E. Mullard (Taree), and A. Gill (Kolodong). There are 61 grandchildren. The surviving brothers and sisters are Messrs. Herbert and Albert Gill (Comboyne), Alfred Gill (Kendall), Mesdames A. S. Redman (Taree), C. Arnott (Laurieton), T. Flanagan (Sydney), J. T. McLaughlin (Bay's Hill, Taree) and R. Henson (Sydney). The late James Gill, of Laurieton, was a brother, and the late Mrs E. Mclntyre, of Sydney, and formerly of Laurieton, was a sister. At 2 p.m. on Friday a service was conducted at the Taree Methodist Church, following which the remains were laid to rest in the Taree Estate cemetery. Rev. G. A. Knight conducted the services at the church and graveside, and Mr W. T. Howard was the undertaker.
