Emily Josephine Clifford was born 23 July 1860 to Henry Hugh Clifford (1826-1883) and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice (1826-1913) and died 28 December 1923 of unspecified causes. She married Hubert George Howard Galton (1854-1928) 22 April 1885 .
