Esther Mae Nesbitt was born 21 July 1913 in District of Columbia, United States to John B. Nesbitt (1876-1922) and Jessie Doloras Doty (1886-1941) and died 1971 of unspecified causes.
On October 1, 1942, Esther Mae Nesbitt enlisted as an aviation cadet in the Women’s Army Corps, at which time her civil occupation was postal clerk or photographer. She served as an artist in the WAC until shortly before her death. She never married.
