Eva verch Maredudd was born circa 1391 in Bodorgan, Anglesey, Wales to Meredydd ap Cadwgan (c1355-) . She married Einion Sais ap Dafydd (1380-1471) .

Eva verch Maredudd, aka Eva, daughter of Meredydd ap Cadwgan, of Bodorgan, his only child and heiress, married Einion Sais ap Dafydd (1380-1471), the direct descendant and representative in the 6th degree from Cydafael Ynnyd, lord of Cydewain, County Montgomery, and Judge of Powys, i. e. regent under the Prince, of Central Wales, called Powys, or Powys-land.
Their son was Heylin ap Einion (c1415-1465). Other children: Davydd ap Einion, Jockyn ap Einion,
Trevor of Brynkinallt in Denbighshire, wrote the following epitaph on Eva, his grandmother:—
" Here lie* by name the world's mother, / By nature my aunt—sister to my mother; / By law my grandmother—mother to my mother; / My great-grandmother—mother to my grandmother; / All thin may be without breach of consanguinity."
