Married to James Hobart (1789-1813), who probably died in the War of 1812. Widowed with 3 children.
2nd Marriage: Erastus Rudd
Married to Erastus Harper Rudd (1787-1834), and together they joined The Church of Christ, forerunner of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led by Mormon prophet, Joseph Smith (1805-1844). Erastus died of the cholera epidemic while participating in Zion's Camp (1834) in Missouri. He left Experience with another 13 children.
3rd Marriage: Joseph Hancock
Married to Joseph Hancock (1800-1893), another veteran of Zion's Camp, he was a widower with 5 minor children of his own. In 1835 they had 1 child together. By now their household must have been very large! Together this family would follow the church to Illinois and then to Utah.
