Fanny Mack, cousin to the Mormon Prophet,Joseph Smith (1805-1844), was married to David Dort (1793-1841) and bore him several children. Previously he had been married to Fanny's younger sister Mary Mack (1793-1827). He also participated in Zion's Camp (1834).
