He married Emily Jane Green (1873-1966) 2 June 1897 in Casino, New South Wales, Australia.

Obituary

MR. F. G. CRAWFORD

The death occurred on Saturday of Mr. Ferrante George Crawford, a well-known resident of Casino, at the age of 65 years, in Casino Memorial Hospital. The late Mr. Crawford was taken suddenly ill with heart trouble on September 16 and did not regain consciousness before his death.

Born in Grafton, Mr. Crawford lived with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Crawford, on their farm there and later at Ramornie, coming to the Richmond district about 50 years ago. Living at Sandy Creek and Horseridges, the family moved to Casino, where Mr. Crawford commenced his trade as a building contractor. He married Miss Emily Jane Green, of Tatham, 43 years ago, and he is survived by her and the following family Messrs. William Lorrimer and Eric Austin (Casino), Leslie (Lismore), and Ferrante Crawford (Kyogle), and Mrs. T. Fenwick (Casino). He is also survived by four brothers and three sisters. They are: Messrs. Joseph and Donald (Amarina), George (Ettrick) and Jack Crawford (Murwillumbah), and Mesdames D. E. Maclntyre (Childers), H. R. Imeson (Casino) and T. W. Ryan (Leeville).

The funeral took place in the Methodist portion of Casino cemetery on Saturday.
