Fertőszentmiklós (German: Sankt Niklaus am Neusiedlersee, Croatian: Nikola) is a town in Győr-Moson-Sopron County, Western Transdanubia Region in northwestern Hungary.

Location[]

Fertőszentmiklós is situated close to the Hungarian-Austrian border. In 1898 the village if Fertőszentmiklós was merged with the separate village of Szerdahely, under the name Fertőszentmiklós-Szerdahely. The new village was renamed Fertőszentmiklós in 1905.
