I've been adding categories to the pages I create, many of which are red links. Is there a way for me to create new categories or is that an admin function? Lanica 14:52, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
- No, you can create categories just like any other pages. You will notice that we have templates for many of the category types (eg {{SCat}} for surname categories), and standard forms for various others. Be bold (I will probably polish any that I think need it). Thurstan 06:25, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
- See Help:Category. And see our shortcuts for county-related categories. I've just used {{cm-us}}, for example.
