I created a page in error: Adam Domelle (c1855-?)/info I didn't realize that it already existed!! How do I delete? --Leahkleylein 23:51, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

You can't delete pages until you become an administrator. Maybe you can move it to be an info page for another "new" relative? Maybe not. But it's not actually possible to create a page that already exists - you would get the existing page in your edit box immediately. If it's an info page, you get a message "ERROR: The article you are attempting to create already exists." with a box in which you can enter a different name. If you hit the "Create" button again without a change, you get the same response.
Anyway, the experience may have taught you something more about how to check whether a page exists. I'll have a look at Adam and his relatives, and I'll delete or redirect the "duplicate" if I can't think of a better use for it. — Robin Patterson (Talk) 03:42, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
