OK, don't laugh! The last three female-person-pages I have looked at have a question-mark instead of the mirror symbol for "Sex". I checked that the first one has "Sex=F" in its code and I'm confident that the others do. What can we do about it? --- Robin Patterson (Talk) 04:33, January 7, 2019 (UTC)

If it says "Sex=F" then it is in error: it should say "sex=F" (lower-case "s"). There was a bug in which some "/info" pages were created (User:Bergsmit was a particular offender) which used the upper-case "s" (which didn't matter for "/info" pages). However when the conversion was done to SMW, the field was copied over, and since template parameters are case-sensitive, it doesn't work. Most of the pages in Category:Person articles affected by the page move bug (which I have been working my way through in the last couple of days) are there because of this bug. Does this cover your instances (you didn't provide any examples!)?. Thurstan (talk) 04:47, January 7, 2019 (UTC)
Thank you again. I don't remember whether it was "S" or "s". The one I moved tonight - Grace or Grizzel Gibson (1807-1888) - is OK and two of her relatives are OK too. But I have restarted Firefox and that may have killed whatever bug was affecting display. --- Robin Patterson (Talk) 12:49, January 7, 2019 (UTC)
