It's been a while. I was trying to find this Wikia again. After searching under "hobby" and under a couple other headings (which I don't recall right off hand) . . . I only found Genealogy/Family-pedia under "most popular" Wikia -- something which a first-time visitor wouldn't know. I hope to be referring some folks here. Is it possible to cross-reference Genealogy into several more categories on the Wikia Index page?

Just a thought.

Well, some of us might list it under religion, but I expect most don't take it to such extremes. For me, it is about family. I honor the memory and accomplishments of those who came before me. I wouldn't call that a hobby any more than I'd call driving my kids to school a hobby. So what categories on the wikia index page do you think would be a candidate location to consider? -~ Phlox 19:25, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Definitely a hobby for some people. Concise Oxford Dictionary, 10th ed: "an activity done regularly for pleasure". Finding the site is easy if you google "genealogy wikia" but not so good with "genealogy wiki". And it has been in Wikia's history category for months. Anyone can add it to any existing relevant Central Wikia category. — Robin Patterson (Talk) 05:31, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
