This template is one of the most obvious things about a Familypedia article and therefore deserves to be as flawless and friendly as possible. It is gradually being improved, which is very pleasing.

Currently a couple of questions and/or requests are sitting unanswered on its talk page. Would some kind programmer or template creator please have a look and do whatever he or she can? Items I remember noting are "second spouse" and "death age and cause". — Robin Patterson (Talk) 05:35, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

Problem, January 2011[]

The latest page to which I added the template - Pavel Coşoreanu (1871-1945) - is displaying most of the places as yellow warning triangles, even after a dummy edit. Most or all of the places have pages on the wiki. What's up? — Robin Patterson (Talk) 10:54, January 29, 2011 (UTC)

Several other pages have the same problem, to some degree. Example, showing the possibly enlightening info you get when you copy and paste one:

Catherine Hanrahan was born 1 February 1864 in BathurstThe part "|Bathurst, New South Wales" of the query was not understood. This problem has been with us for a while. See Template_talk:Showfacts_biography#Understating_dates. -- Robin Patterson (Talk) 23:12, November 13, 2013 (UTC)
