Frances Spencer was born circa 1696 to Charles Spencer, 3rd Earl of Sunderland (c1674-1722) and Arabella Cavendish (1673-1698) and died 27 July 1742 Long Orton, Huntingdonshire, England, United Kingdom of unspecified causes. She married Henry Howard, 4th Earl of Carlisle (1694-1758) 27 November 1717 .
