Francis Denzil Edward Baring, 5th Baron Ashburton, was born 20 July 1866 to Alexander Hugh Baring, 4th Baron Ashburton (1835-1889) and Leonora Caroline Digby (1844-1930) and died 27 March 1938 of unspecified causes. He married Mabel Edith Hood (1866-1904) 25 July 1889 in St. George's Church, St George Hanover Square, Greater London, England, United Kingdom. He married Frances Donnelly (1885-1959) 19 February 1906 in The Mairie, Paris, France.
