• Marie O'Neill Kravette wrote in 2012: "Francis Parke was my gr. Uncle: he was born 27 Sept 1902 in Drummahon, Co. Leitrim, Ireland. He was called Frank. He is the son of Patrick Parke and Anne Rourke. He came to US on 14th April 1925 to Jersey City. He worked for Stillman Oil refineries. In 1930 he was living in a boarding house run by widow Winifred Furey a lady he eventually married. Winifred had children from her first marriage but did not have any with Frank. They sold the boarding house and bought a nice house in the suburbs. In later years they also had an apartment/house in Florida where they spent a lot of the year. Frank was always very good to his brothers and sisters back in Ireland and would always send money home to them for Christmas. He would always inquire as to how everyone was back home and loved to hear the news from home. He never went home for a visit however. His wife Winifred pre-deceased him and Frank died on 27 May 1988. He was the last surviving member of the family in America. This information was giving to me Marie O'Neill Kravette by another cousin in Ireland, Cathal Parke."
