Francis Scott, 2nd Earl of Buccleuch, was born 21 December 1626 to Walter Scott, 1st Earl of Buccleuch (bef1606-1633) and Mary Hay (bef1606-1631) and died 22 November 1651 Dalkeith Castle, Scotland, United Kingdom of unspecified causes. He married Margaret Leslie (c1620-1688) 25 July 1646 .
