Francis Seymour-Conway, 2nd Marquess of Hertford, was born 12 February 1743 in Hanover Square, Westminster, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom to Francis Seymour-Conway, 1st Marquess of Hertford (1718-1794) and Isabella FitzRoy (1726-1782) and died 17 June 1822 Marylebone, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom of unspecified causes. He married Alice Elizabeth Windsor (1749-1772) 4 February 1768 in London, England, United Kingdom. He married Isabella Anne Ingram-Shepheard (1760-1834) 20 May 1776 in London, England, United Kingdom.
On the death of his mother-in-law in 1807, he and his wife added the surname "Ingram" to their own, due to the fortune they inherited from her. However the sources differ as to whether that made his surname "Seymour-Ingram" or "Ingram-Seymour-Conway".
