Frederick West was born 1767 to John West, 2nd Earl De La Warr (1729-1777) and Mary Wynyard (-1784) and died 22 March 1852 of unspecified causes. He married Charlotte Mitchell (-1795) 17 April 1792 . He married Maria Myddelton (c1772-1843) 31 May 1798 .
