Friederike Amalie of Denmark was born 11 April 1649 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Frederik III of Denmark (1609-1670) and Sophie Amalie von Braunschweig-Calenberg (1628-1685) and died 30 October 1704 Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany of unspecified causes. She married Christian Albrecht von Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf (1641-1695) 24 October 1667 in Glückstadt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
