Friedrich VI. von Hessen-Homburg, Landgraf von Hessen-Homburg, was born 30 July 1769 in Homburg vor der Höhe, Hesse, Germany to Friedrich V. von Hessen-Homburg (1748-1820) and Karoline von Hessen-Darmstadt (1746-1821) and died 2 April 1829 Homburg vor der Höhe, Hesse, Germany of of complications from a old leg wound.
