Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg-Schwedt, Markgraf von Brandenburg-Schwedt, was born 27 December 1700 in Oranienbaum to Philipp Wilhelm von Brandenburg-Schwedt (1669-1711) and Johanna Charlotte von Anhalt-Dessau (1682-1750) and died 4 March 1771 of unspecified causes. He married Sophie Dorothee Maria von Preußen (1719-1765) 10 November 1734 in Potsdam.
