Fuller Earle Callaway, III (October 17, 1931 - September 21, 1971), a native of La Grange, Troup County, Georgia, was a noted yachtsman and son of Fuller Earle Callaway, Jr. (1907-1992) and Alice Hinman Hand (1912-1998). He was a graduate of Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Harvard Business School in Boston and was associated with Durrum Instrument Corporation at Palo Alto, California.

Mr. Callaway was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the First Baptist Church of LaGrange, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, St. Francis Yach Club of San Francisco, and Royal Ocean Racing Association of England. He married three times: first to Wanda Brigham Vogt (1931-1997), the mother of his only child, Mark Clayton Callaway; secondly to Swedish actress Pia Friedal Lindström (1938), daughter of Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman (1915-1982) and Aron Petter Lindström; and thirdly to Annette Cash.

He died in Atherton, San Mateo County, California and was originally buried in Hillview Cemetery, Troup County, Georgia and re-interred in the Callaway Family Cemetery, Troup County, Georgia on the grounds of the family's "Hills and Dales" estate in La Grange.
