Biography
Fyodor Ivanovich, nicknamed the Blessed One (Благоверный), was killed in 1330 at the Golden Horde. His death is the only fact which is mentioned in the annals, namely in the Nikon Chronicle , and the chronicle simply states this fact and completely omits the reasons for the murder and the circumstances that accompanied it. A. Exemplarsky suggests that the death at the Horde of Fyodor Ivanovich, as well as a number of other contemporary princes, was accomplished being instigated by Ivan Kalita, who around that time began to tighten the specific princes and bring many of them to the Tatar khan.
