The Găvanu Burdea Plain is part of the Romanian Plain. It is located in the Olt-Argeș subdivision of the Romanian Plain, which is limitat by the Olt River in the West and the Argeș River in the East. Besides the Burnaz Plain, this sector also includes the Pitești Plain, the Boianul Plain and the Burnaz Plain.
Geographic location[]
The Găvanu-Burdea Plain is limited as follows:
- to the North by the alignment of the villages Răscăeṭi, Vișina, Stolnici, Ungheni, Recea and Negrași.
- to the East by the Argeș River
- to the South by the by the alignment of the villages Ghimpaṭi, Vitănești, Măgura, Drăgănești-Vlașca, Bujoru, and by the valleys of the Neajlov and Câlniștea rivers.
- to the West by the Vedea River and the village of Cotmeana.
