George Adams Larby (1825-27 May 1884) was born in Middlesex, England in 1825 and died in Sussex, England in 1884 aged fifty-nine.
Marriage and Children[]
On 20 February 1846 in Saint Nicholas, Brighton, Sussex George Adams Larby married Mary Dorothy Payne (c.1822-1915), the daughter of Richard Kent Payne (1792-?), a grocer and tea dealer. They had the following children:

- Kate Larby (1853-1921)
- Louisa Larby (1855-1887)
- Walter Larby (1856-1929)
- Maud Mary Larby (1858-?)

The year after the marriage, Richard Kent Payne was declared bankrupt.
Later Life[]
William Adams Larby, George's eldest child, died on 31 March 1874 aged twenty-seven. George Adams Larby died himself on 27 May 1884 aged fifty-nine; three years later his daughter Louisa died.

George Adams Larby was a farmer. He also collected works of art. In the 1878 Kelly's Directory he was listed as a resident of Flower Green. Flower Green was the residence of the Larby family for many years. George served on jury duty in 1848.
