George Chaseling was born 11 June 1867 in Rose Hill, New South Wales, Australia to Matthew James Chaseling (1839-1906) and Mary Woods (1842-1915) and died 11 October 1943 the District Hospital, Windsor, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Lecorah Ann Walker (1865-1905) 1 March 1893 in Leets Vale, New South Wales, Australia. He married Emily Adelaide R Mansfield (1878-1953) 21 January 1914 .

Obituary
AN old and espected district resident, in Mr. George Chaseling, passed away at the District Hospital on 11th inst., at the age of 76 years.
Although he had spent the greater portion of his life as a resident of the river centres, during latter years deceased had lived with a son at Newtown, Windsor. He is also survived by two daughters, and general sympathy is extended to the family in their bereavement. The funeral took place on 12th inst., when the interment was conducted in the Methodist cemetery at Wiseman's Ferry, Rev. C. R. Harwood officiating.
