Obituary

MR. G. H. MILLER

Mr George Henry Miller died at his residence, Balmoral, Orchard Hills, on Friday. August 31, at the age of 82 years. This very esteemed gentleman was born at Liverpool, and was the son of Mr and Mrs Peter Miller, of that town. His mother died during his infancy, and his young life was spent with his grandparents in the Camden district.
About forty years ago Mr and Mrs Miller came to Orchard Hills. Mrs Miller died in 1917. He took an interest in the affairs of the community, and particularly of the Methodist Church.
Mr Miller usually enjoyed good health, but on Friday, about 10.30 a.m. he had a seizure and died at about 2 p.m.
Two sons and a daughter survive—Alfred (Lithgow), Jeffrey (Orchard Hills), and May (Mrs A. E. Wood, Orchard Hills). There are six grandchildren.
The funeral took place on Saturday, the interment being In the Methodist portion of Penrith general cemetery. Rev. G. A. Little conducted the service. A number of wreaths were forwarded, including tributes from Orchard Hills Ladies' Church Aid, Orchard Hills War Workers, P. and C.A., and Sunday School children.
