He married Louisa Stonard (c1820-1902) 26 October 1840 in Aldershot, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom.
Early Life[]
George Larby was born in Farnham and christened there on 2 June 1816. His parents were George Larby, a labourer, and the former Elizabeth Ellis. George's siblings were Elizabeth, Henry, William, Stephen, Charlotte and Eliza.
In 1841 George Larby Sr. was convicted of burglary and sentenced to transportation, but died whilst still in hulk imprisonment in Portsea. Elizabeth Ellis was still living in Farnham according to the 1841 census, and is believed to have died there in 1850.
Marriage[]
George married Louisa Stonard on 11 July 1840 in Aldershot. The couple first lived at Hungry Hill in Farnham, where George's father had lived. At this time George worked as an agricultural labourer, and by 1861 he was working as a brickmaker and the family had moved to Alma Road, Farnham.

Later Life[]
George and Louisa remained in Alma Road for the rest of their lives. Their sons Henry and George remained unmarried and living with them. George worked as a market gardener into his eighties. Having been married for over sixty years, Louisa died in 1902 aged 81; George passed away in 1905 aged 89.
