Biography
George Thynne, 2nd Baron Carteret of Hawnes, was born 23 January 1770 to Thomas Thynne, 1st Marquess of Bath (1734-1796) and Elizabeth Cavendish-Bentinck (1735-1825) and died 19 February 1838 Dalkeith Palace, Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom of unspecified causes. He married Harriet Courtenay (1771-1836) 9 May 1797 in Grosvenor Street, London, England, United Kingdom.
He was succeeded in the barony by his younger brother.
