George William Cornwell was born 19 November 1855 in Richmond, New South Wales, Australia to John Cornwell (1832-1914) and Ann Elizabeth Farlow (1833-1915) and died 15 October 1921 Kia Ora, Pittwater-road, Narrabeen, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Lucy Stone (1853-1939) 27 February 1879 in St Phillips church, North Richmond, New South Wales, Australia.

Obituary
The.death took place last Saturday of Mr. George Cornwell, at his late residence, Narrabeen, at the age of 65 years and 11 months. He was, until a few years ago, for many years in the butchering business at Lidcombe where he was widely known and respected. The remains were interred in the Church of England cemetery, Rookwood, on Monday, the funeral being largely attended.
