Gerald FitzGerald, 5th Duke of Leinster, 5th Marquess of Kildare, 24th Earl of Kildare, 5th Earl of Offaly, 10th Baron Offaly, 5th Viscount Leinster of Taplow, was born 16 August 1851 in Dublin to Charles W. FitzGerald (1819-1887) and Caroline Leveson-Gower (1827-1887) and died 1 December 1893 of typhoid fever. He married Hermione W. Duncombe (1864-1895) 17 January 1884 in London.
