Another old Taralga identity in the person of Mr. Gideon Buckman was also buried during the week. Mr. Buckman was a very old resident, having taken up land at Golspie in the early days which he afterwards disposed of, and went up the country; but lately he came back, and for some time had been living with his daughter, Mrs. Matthews. The deceased was a very old man, and his death was due to senile decay.
