Son of Oleg Svyatoslavich, grandson of Svyatoslav Yaroslavich. His name is mentioned only twice in the Russian chronicles: in 1137, with the Kurians and Polovtsians, he went to help his brother, Prince Novgorod of Svyatoslav Olgovich, who had asked for his help against Vsevolod Mstislavich of Pskov.
He died in the winter of 1138 in Veliky Novgorod, probably from the wound he received under Pskov. From a marriage with an unknown he had two sons, Izyaslav Glebovich of Kursk (c1120-1134)|Izyaslav]] and Rostislav.
