Gleb Svyatoslavich of Chernigov was born 1160 to Svyatoslav III Vsevolodovich of Kiev (c1123-1194) and Mariya Vasilkovna of Polotsk (c1125-c1180) and died 1217 of unspecified causes. He married Anastasiya Ryurikovna (c1166-c1210) .

Gleb Svyatoslavich (baptized Pakhomi) (c1160-1217) - Prince of Kolomna (1179), Prince of Kanev (1182-1190), Prince of Pereyaslavl (1190-1194), Princes of Starodub-Seversky (1202-1204), Prince of Novgorod-Seversky (1204 - 1212), Chernigov (1215 - 1217), son of Svyatoslav Vsevolodovich from a marriage with Mariya Vasilkovna of Polotsk. He was the younger brother of Vsevolod Svyatoslavich Chermny.

In 1180, Vsevolod Yuryevich intervened in the struggle for power in the Principality of Ryazan on the side of opponents of his father and captured Gleb in Kolomna, after which Svyatoslav Vsevolodovich undertook together with Novgorod and the Polovtsians a campaign against the Grand Principality of Vladimir-Suzdal.

In the period of the reign of his father as Grand Prince of Kiev (1180-1194) Gleb reigned in Kanev in the Porosye and participated in the struggle against the Polovtsians. In 1187 there was an unrealized plan for Gleb's voyage to Halych during the struggle for power after the death of Yaroslav Osmomysl.

Gleb ruled in Chernigov with the death of his elder brother Vsevolod Svyatoslavich Chermny in 1215. The exact year of Gleb's death is unknown. Probably he died between 1216 [1] and 1219, when Mstislav, his younger brother, who participated in the Battle of the Kalka River (1223), is mentioned as Prince of Chernigov [2] .
