Gleb Vladimirovich of Ryazan (Глеб Владимирович) was born circa 1180 to Vladimir Glebovich of Pronsk (c1158-c1197) and died 1218 of unspecified causes. He married Unknown Davydovna of Smolensk (c1185-c1230) .

Biography
He is first mentioned in 1195 when he was present in Vladimir at the wedding of Konstantin Vsevolodovich [1].
In 1196, supporting his father-in-law, the Prince of Smolensk Davyd Rostislavich, he participated in the war with the Olgovichi of Chernigov and barely escaped captivity.
In 1207, Gleb together with his brother Oleg accused his uncles, Roman Glebovich of Ryazan (c1152-1216) and Svyatoslav Glebovich of Pronsk (c1162-1207), of treason to the Grand Prince of Vladimir-SuzdalVsevolod Yuryevich the Big Nest, which caused their imprisonment as well as that of the brothers Ingvar and Yuri Igorevich.
Following this imprisonment, Vsevolod Yuryevich gave the reign of the Grand Principality of Ryazan to Oleg Vladimirovich of Pronsk (c1183-c1216), to share it with Gleb. It turned out that this was not enough for Gleb and in 1209 he decided to take the rule of the Grand Principality of Ryazan. However, this attempt failed.
The Council of Isady (1217)
Main article: Council of Isady (1217) On July 20 1217, Gleb, with his brother Konstantin, organized princely Council of Isady (1217), according to V.N. Tatishchev[2], to redistribute the principitalities, after the death of Roman Glebovich during his captivity in Vladimir.
With the help of the Polovtsians, Gleb and Konstantin organized at the murder, during the council, of their brother Izyaslav Vladimirovich and five cousins, including Roman Igorevich. After Roman Igorevich's death, the reign of the Grand Principality of Ryazan was taken by his brother Ingvar Igoryevich, who was not at the coucil, and who, later, In 1219, defeated Gleb and the Polovtsians brought by him. Then, requesting help from Grand Prince of Vladimir-Suzdal Yuri Vsevolodovich defeated them again [3].
Gleb ran to the Polovtsians, where he lost his mind and soon died [4].
