Gleb Vsevolodovich of Goroden was born 1123 to Vsevolodko Davydovich of Goroden (c1080-1142) and Agafiya Vladimirovna of Kiev (c1097-1144) and died 1170 of unspecified causes.

Gled Vsevolodovich was the second of the three sons of prince Vsevolodko of Goroden and Agafia Vladimirovna , daughter of Vladimir Monomakh. Gleb inherited Principality of Goroden after the death of his elder brother Boris Vsevolodovich. In 1144, Gleb and Boris were mentioned among the princes who participated in the campaign of the great Kiev prince Vsevolod Olgovich to the Galician prince Volodymyr Volodarevich.[1] ..

Gleb Vsevolodovich is first mentioned as ruler of the principality in 1166 in the Ipatiev Chronicle. He was a supporter of Rostislav Mstislavich of Kiev (c1110-1167)Rostislav Mstislavich, grand prince of Kiev and, at his call, went to Kanev to protect the Greek merchants from the Polovtsians . After Rostislav's death, the prince of Vladimir-Volynsky, Mstislav Izyaslavich who claimed the [principality of Kiev]], requto be at the Kiev table, appealed to Gleb Vsevolodovich and his younger brother Mstislav Vsevolodovich with a call for help. [2][1] .

Gleb is last mentioned at the beginning of 1170, when Mstislav Izyaslavich asked him and his brother to help him free Gleb Yuryevich, who was imprisoned there by his brother Vladimir, Prince Vladimir Yuryevich Bogolyubsky , who had seized Kiev. But after Mstislav Izyaslavich took Kiev in February-March 1170, he returned from battle only with Mstislav Vsevolodovich. According to A.V. Nazarenko, Gleb died around February 1170 [1] .

It is not known whether Gleb was married and whether he had children. Probably, during Mstislav's rule of the orincipality of Goroden there was at least another adult member of the family, but it is unclear whose he was Gleb Vsevolodovich's son[1] .
