Grigore Angelescu was born 1891 in Buzău, Buzău County, Romania to Constantin Angelescu (c1855-1891) and Aristița Bagdat (1856-1895) and died 15 March 1916 of unspecified causes. He married Maria Urseanu (c1895-1916) .
Grigore Angelescu' started attending high school in Buzău and in Iași and then graduated from the military school for cavalry officers in Târgoviște. Deeply in love with his wife, he committed suicide by shooting himself after her death
