Guntpolt von Dollnstein was born circa 967 to Ernst V von Dollnstein (?-c1007) and Bilefrid von Bayern (c945-c1010) and died circa 1022 of unspecified causes.
Guntpolt does not seem to have had a wife and children. With two married brothers, he probably was a priest or a monk. He should not be confused with his nephew.
