Hannah Elida Baldwin Crosby was born 4 March 1820 in St. George, New Brunswick, Canada to George Baldwin (1792-1821) and Elizabeth Hanson (1796-1880) and died 2 May 1907 St. George, Washington County, Utah, United States of unspecified causes. She married Jesse Wentworth Crosby (1820-1893) 23 November 1845 in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois, United States.
St. George Pioneers of 1861-62
This person is listed on the Encampment Mall Memorial - a list of over 300 LDS Pioneer Families that helped to settle St. George, Utah in 1861. They were part of the "Dixie Cotton Mission" called by President Brigham Young to raise cotton and other southern crops in the warmer climate of Washington County, Utah.
